Hands around the World is a charitable non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Monmouth, Wales, UK. They work with partners in Africa and India to support and help disadvantaged children reach their potential.
The charity is led by Executive Officer Bridget Higginson and overseen by a group of eight trustees who bring a variety of skills and experience to their roles. They are supported by both a small staff team and the crucial commitment of volunteers, locally and overseas.
They are currently looking to develop and diversify their board of trustees and are particularly seeking enthusiastic people of all ages who have lived and worked in development in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia or West Bengal, India.
Our trustees are unpaid volunteers and usually meet every six weeks, mostly online on Zoom.
